Photo Gallery: Latvia (home),  October 2001

These photos were taken before, during and after the Latvia home game, where the 5pm kick off time may go some way towards explaining some of the stranger behaviour on show.  As misfortune would have it, we were sat in front of the Prestwick Tartan Army, and at one stage they borrowed the camera to try and take discreet shots of a tightly-trousered young lady, to little avail (see here)

Hey, old man - you're not from Dunfermline! Get out the photo! Before the game in the Iron Horse with Ali Smith, Arthur and the Dunfermline contingent. Paul in the Scotia with two of the nicest regulars Paul with two of the regulars from the Scotia (whose names he promised to remember but still forgot)
The eyes have it Maurice fae Forres welcomes us to the Iron Horse, with his one-man tribute to the old away kit we wore in Germany/Tallinn. Ally, we can see your bag Despite carefully adjusting his kilt, Ally still leaves his pink bag on show to the Glasgow public.
Cap'n, she's going under The Renfrew Ferry, listing precariously into the Clyde. Bye bye, baby On the boat - is this the fabled "Mr Shangalang"?
Rich, Andy and David A rare outing for Andrew of the Inverness Branch in the Victoria Bar, near Hampden.
Ezzy and Helen (courtesy of Brian) Ezzy and Helen in The Pandora before the game (thanks to Bryan McDermid) A meeting of the 3 big "down south" TA's Paul with Will Fae Swindon and "Davie Crockett" of Loony Alba.  Will, of course, is my fat look-alike!
Rich and a relative, of sorts Rich with his brother's, girlfriend's butcher's cousin's babysitter's best friend's next door neighbour, or something like that (I don't know!  I was drunk!) Billy in action Living legend, Billy McNeill, behind the bar of his pub (McNeill's, right next to Queens Park station) before the Latvia game.
His face is about to crack! Rich in "smile" shocker!  "At last", the greasy one thinks, "photographic evidence that I speak to women".

Just before Sue slapped him for making untoward gestures with his programme!

Wee boy with flag Wee boy with flag.

Well, I thought it looked "arty"

Flying the flag Helen, Rich, Susan, Tom (Prestwick) and Joan (not June) from Dunfermline with the NATA flag.  Camera trickery? A crowd?  At Hampden?
Target sighted... One of the Prestwick boys got hold of the camera... promising approach play... It's alright, darlin', it's not your face we're interested in! ... but no goal.  Apparently he shot too early!
What? You mean there's a game on as well? Put the fun on hold for 90 minutes - the game's about to start! Back to normal once more That's more like it!
Say cheese Ally gets in for a close up (in the background) But what's going on under the table? Paul "power-napping" in The Pandora, 9pm. (thanks to Bryan McDermid)
Brothers in arms... my bird's arms! Campbell and Dougie (Notts Scots), brothers with matching beer stains, in The Iron Horse with Sue and Helen. Atishoo, atishoo... A ring o' roses, upstairs in The Iron Horse.
Paul with a little Latvian Paul with Marian Pahars in Glasgow airport.
