Why did I write this?

This formed the coursework for the Social Movements module I sat in the second year of my Politics degree. This had a big impact on my final degree grade (which was 2:1). This is one of the longer essays (4,600 words), and this version is "uncut" - the actual submitted coursework had around 550 words less.

When was it written?

April 1997.

What happened to it?

This got a mark somewhere in the mid-60%s. Funnily enough, if it had been a little better, it would probably have lifted my entire degree grade into borderline first class material.

Would I change anything about it?
